The RegioData purchasing power indicators for adolescents present a country’s regional level of prosperity for the age group 12 to 18 in a clear and concise form. Purchasing power is defined as the ability of a person or a household to acquire goods, services and rights within a given period using available funds. The index indicates the deviations from the respective national mean value of the level of prosperity (fixed at 100) for the population group “adolescents” (12-18 years).
