The RegioData product-specific organic purchasing power ratios are available for various product groups (e.g. food, beverages, pet food, etc.). They represent that part of the general purchasing power that is available for the respective product group.

Purchasing power is understood to be the ability of a person or a household to acquire goods, services and rights within a certain period with available funds. The index indicates the deviations from the respective national mean value of the level of prosperity (fixed at 100).
