The RegioData Purchasing Power of Senior Citizens presents the regional prosperity level of a country for the 65+ age group in a clear form. Purchasing power is defined as the ability of a person or a household to acquire goods, services and rights within a certain period of time with available funds. The index indicates the deviations from the respective national mean value of the level of prosperity (fixed at 100) for the “senior citizens” population group.
