Retail Centrality

Currently available multi-client analyses

The RegioData centrality indices provide a clear overview of retail centrality. The centrality index is calculated from the ratio of the local sales index (retail sales compared to the national average) to the local retail purchasing power index (retail purchasing power compared to the national average). Centrality is thus a measure of an area’s purchasing power retention, with a centrality rating of 100 corresponding to national purchasing power retention.
